THE FINAL

On September 16 the 7-person jury will meet again to determine who will
be the final winners in the 3 categories: 2D, 3D and Young Talent. The
winners will be announced on November 3rd. The visiting public will also
select a public winner which will also be announced on November 3rd.

Two weeks later, Sunday, November 17, is the last day of the exhibition.

You can visit the exposition Amy Verhoeff’s artwork is part of from
September 3rd until November 17th. The exhibition can be viewed from
Tuesday to Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.”
ON TO THE FINAL ROUND

In total, more than 1250 portraits (2D and 3D) were submitted. The
participants digitally delivered a photo of their work. Subsequently, a
jury chose the 120 nominees from this. It turned out that Amy Verhoeff
was among the last 120! This meant that she was allowed to show her work
on June 3rd  to a jury in Slot Zeist. An exciting day that she was
looking forward to with great enthusiasm. On June 3, at the end of the
day, Amy got the redeeming word; she was voted one of the last 50
nominees. A great honor and appreciation for her work. The portrait of
her grandfather will therefore be exhibited in Slot Zeist from 1
September 2019 to 17 November 2019.
“ THE DUTCH PORTRAIT PRIZE 2019

This year Amy Verhoeff is participating in "The Dutch Portrait Prize", a
biennial competition for Dutch contemporary portraiture with an
associated exhibition of the 50 nominees entitled THE PORTRAIT. The
Dutch Portrait Prize is being organized for the second time.

Amy takes part in the competition with her grandfather's portrait. A
painted work full of details, with a lot of emotional value for her and
her family.
